Over past many decades, people witnessed a great impact ferroelectricity our everyday life, where numerous materials have been designed and developed to enable advancement diverse applications. Now driving forces for studies stem from regulations environment, human health sustainable society development. This leads resurgence lead-free expectation replacing state-of-the-art lead-based counterparts. next wave explorations into maybe related Internet-of-Things, which requires millions self-powered sensors memories. will promote research ferroelectrics sensing, energy harvesting storage, communication non-volatile memories, centimetre scale micro nanoscale. review gives brief discussion viewpoint, challenges current status based prospective
